Film Noir UK wanted a moody opener for their upcoming festival Film Noir Fest. The main goal of the ident was to give the audience a bitesized slice of the films they could expect to watch over the weekend. We covered some key visuals like Femme Fatales / Crime / Moody Lighting while the whole piece would be anchored by a swinging light which I felt worked great in

This was a particularly enjoyable pre-production since I spent a lot of time watching some great Film Noir! I also spent a bit of extra time on some animation experiments during this process to gauge what kind of action worked for the client.
I delivered a 4K Cinema-grade DCP for the client and it worked terrifically in the cinema.
