The EOH Podcast were looking for a rebrand of their Podcast to update their visuals across the web and their socials. The goal was to create a cohesive visual identity across all their platforms including options which worked in multiple size formats and on merch.
We agreed to create some animated/motion assets also as video was performing much better on socials at this time. This was a terrific brief to work on as a horror fan!

Client: The Evolution of Horror Podcast
Role: Lead Creative / Illustration / Animation / Motion Graphics (The lot)
This was a modular design which could be re-organised to fit multiple aspect rations. It was an absolute blast coming up with the right kind of approach for the EOH brand and we eventually landed on this cool apothecary of horrors. You can check out some of the process work for this below.
There were a lot of assets to create for this rebrand across the multiple platforms and formats EOH had a presence on. This included Podcast stores / Socials / Youtube / Patreon / Merch. I decided to break the project up in to a hierarchy of importance so the main Podcast Artwork and design would inform the Episode Artwork and so on.

A tonne of assets for socials including re-purposed Season Artwork, bespoke backgrounds and social layouts including animated backdrops.
And here's some animation work I've produced for the Pod too. I worked on a short EOH Presents cinema ident to play in front of EOH's live screenings which is terrific to see up on the big screen. These animated icons for the EOH Patreon channel where particularly fun to work on too!
"Collaborating with Mike on artwork for my projects is one of my absolute favourite things. He's a brilliant artist but he's also calm, reliable and somehow we always seem to be on the exact same wavelength: even when I can't quite articulate in words what I need, he seems to know exactly what I'm after and delivers! Having Mike rebrand the Evolution of Horror podcast was a dream project for me. Mike's a big horror fan as well as an extraordinary artist, so was able to come up with designs that were far better (and scarier!) than anything I could've imagined. Mike knew exactly how to adapt his new designs for different platforms and mediums (videos, social media posts, website art, etc.) whilst also giving the brand such a distinct personality and unique vibe. He even threw in a brand guide document, laying out the best ways to use all of the assets he provided, which was EXTREMELY helpful for someone as bad at branding and social media as I am!"
